How effective is Ceftazidime 0.5 g from Japan (intravenous antibiotics, Fortaz, Tazicef)?

Ceftazidime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by disrupting the synthesis of the peptidoglycan layer of bacterial cell walls. Ceftazidime injections are effective for the treatment of various diseases cause by Gram-positive (including group B streptococci, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes), Gram-negative (including Enterobacter, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Neisseria meningitidis) and anaerobic bacteria (Bacteroides spp.). Unlike many other third-generation cephalosporins, it is effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. But it’s less effective against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
