Medical effect: Pasetosin tablets are effective for the treatment of the following diseases and conditions:

• respiratory infections,
• skin infections,
• otorhinolaryngological infections,
• ophthalmologic infections,
• urinary tract infections,
• oral and dental infections,
• Helicobacter pylori infection and Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis (in combination with other medicines).

Contraindications and precautions: do not use in patients with infectious mononucleosis, pregnant or breastfeeding women. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop using the medication and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication, please consult with your doctor before use.

Dosage and administration of Japanese Pasetocin tablets 250 mg (amoxicillin, antibiotics)

For Helicobacter pylori infection and Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis: For adults, take 3 tablets with other two medicines (combination of clarithromycin or metronidazole and proton-pump inhibitor, like lansoprazole, omeprazole, rabeprazole sodium, esomeprazole, or vonoprazan) at a time, 2 times a day, for 1 week.

For other infections: For adults, take 1 tablet 3-4 times a day. For children, take 20 to 40 mg of the active ingredient per 1 kg of body weight a day, dividing into 3-4 doses.

The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms by the consulting doctor. But for children the maximum dosage of 90 mg/kg body weight a day should not be exceeded.

Pasetocin tablets contain amoxicillin hydrate, a beta-lactam antibiotic of penicillin family. It works by inhibiting synthesis of polymer chains in bacterial cell wall and, by this, inhibiting the bacterial growth and destroying bacteria. Pasetocin tablets are wide-range antibiotic, effective against streptococci, pneumococci, enterococci, Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Shigella, Chlamydia trachomatis, Salmonella, Borrelia burgdorferi, and Helicobacter pylori.

Who should use Pasetocin tablets 250 mg from Japan (amoxicillin, antibiotics)?

Pasetocin tablets can be used for the treatment of bacterial infections in both children and adults. Moreover, in combination with other drugs, they are effective for eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection of the stomach in gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric MALT lymphoma, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, or after endoscopic therapy for early-stage gastric cancer, and Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis. Studies show that amoxicillin has relatively small rate of causing antibiotic resistance for Helicobacter pillory, especially when compared to clarithromycin, metronidazole or levofloxacin (Yi Hu, Yin Zhu, Nong-Hua Lu. Novel and Effective Therapeutic Regimens for Helicobacter pylori in an Era of Increasing Antibiotic Resistance // Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology. 2017; 7: 168). That’s why it’s used in combination with another antibiotic and proton-pump inhibitor to increase their effectiveness and to lower the risk of antibiotic resistance in the treatment of Helicobacter Pylori.
